Introduction

The Chace has plenty of charm and individual character. Its impressive Victorian architecture, landscaped gardens and spacious oak panelled lounge bar make it an ideal place for business or pleasure. Located just off the A46, 3 miles from the city centre, the hotel provides easy access to the M6, M69 and M42 motorway and is conveniently situated for the NEC. 

The Chace hotel has a variety of rooms available, from the traditional in the main house to more modern in the extension wing. All rooms are en suite with colour TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities, telephone, hairdryer and trouser press. 

History to the present day

Built in the late 1890's for Dr Charles Web Iliffe. The Iliffe family owned the property until 1930.

The ground at Willenhall was passed to Sir Richard Lee during the reformation, instituted by Henry V111 in 1539. Several other wealthy landowners, including The Duke of Montage, purchased the ground throughout the next 275 years, until the owner James Wyatt sold it in 1809.

The Chace became an independently run hotel in 1930, when Mrs Gertrude Patience Williams and a Mr Hartop purchased the building.

Food and Drinks

Full English breakfast is served. London's Restaurant is full of character with many original features, including an impressive decorative fire place and views of the hotel gardens. An a la carte menu is available all week and Sunday lunch is also available. Groups are welcome for business or private dining from 10 to 80 people. Bar snacks are available all day.

Room service is also available for more informal dining.

Directions: From M6(J2) take A46 towards Warwick. Carry on over 2 mini roundabouts and follow A46. Straight on at 2 roundabouts, at 3rd roundabout take the 4th exit signposted B4110 (Willen Hall). Straight on at the next roundabout. At traffic lights continue straight on, hotel is on left.
