Introduction

Mandalay Guest House has five individual en-suite guest rooms and is situated a short distance from the town of Amesbury. Each room has Freeview TV, wireless internet access and hospitality tray. Mandalay has a quiet, relaxed, homely atmosphere and hosts, Nick and Angie will make your stay enjoyable.

There are many interesting sites to visit in the region including Stonehenge (3 minutes by car), Avebury, Salisbury, Old Wardour Castle, Wilton House and Durrington Walls, all within a half hour drive.

History to the present day

Built in the 1930s as a three bedroom house, Mandalay has been sympathetically extended to create an excellent guest house.

Food and Drinks

The relaxing breakfast room overlooks the garden, where a variety of freshly cooked food is served. Please use the Additional Information section of the booking form for any special dietary needs.

There are two nearby pubs which serve excellent food in the Woodford Valley; The Bridge at Upper Woodford and The Weatsheaf at Lower Woodford. Indian and Chinese food is available in Amesbury which is a ten minute walk.
