Tennyson Guest House. is a large Victorian town house situated just a leisurely stroll from the North Beach, Leisure World, Town Centre, harbour and the Spa. The railway station and coach station are a short taxi ride away and the bus station is just around the corner. This family run Bed and Breakfast has six well appointed rooms that are equipped with colour TV with freeview, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, hair dryer and alarm clock. Use of an iron and ironing board is available.
History to the present day
This Victorian town house was built in 1895 and still retains some of the original features.
Food and Drinks
Breakfast is served daily between 8.30am and 9.30am. Starting with orange juice, a selection of cereals, grapefruit, yoghurts, followed by a full English breakfast or an alternative of poached/scambled eggs on toast or smoked haddock.
Evening meals are available by prior arrangement from September to June. Although the restaurant is not licensed, guests are welcome to bring their own wine to the table.
Bridlington is an ideal location to use as a base for exploring the Wolds, and the North Yorkshire moors. Whitby, Scarborough, Hull, York and Leeds are all within an easy drive. The area is rich in historic locations with Castle Howard, Sledmere House, Burton Agnes, and Burton Constable to name but a few.

Directions: From the South: M1/M18/M62 to Howden, then A614 through the Wolds to Bridlington Follow the signs to the North Beach and the junction with the A165 Scarborough Road. Follow the A165 to the north side of town until you come to a double roundabout, follow the signs to Flamborough Head along Marton Road. At the next roundabout turn right along Sewerby Heads, straight across the next roundabout under the viaduct. You will find Tennyson Avenue on the right just past Trinity Church.
From the North: A1 to A19.Then the A166, inland route or A171/A165 coastal route.
